The Sunburnt Country

DSC_0137         Australia is just one of those places that is nearly impossible to complain about. It haseverything from beaches to rain forests to deserts that span almost 18% of Australia’s mainland. There will be no shortage of things to do as you travel around the sunburnt country.

For those of you looking for a little adventure in your lives, I would recommend spending some time in the outback. Your day starts with a short plane ride into the middle of the desert, and then you hop into an armored car to begin your camping experience. You stop whenever you feel like it and set up camp, which consists of a well-controlled campfire, your swag (or sleeping bag) and your new best friend, Sheila the shit shovel. Enjoy a few nights of sleeping under the stars, keeping watch for Camels, and chowing down on a nice Kangaroo burger.Image

If you aren’t the camping type, there is plenty more for you to do. There are various beach resorts where you can snorkel and dive along the Great Barrier Reef and see all kinds of sea-life.

The Jungle is the place for the nature-loving travelers. The humid air is sure to clean out your pores while you bird watch and hike to try and see some adorable koalas.

If you play your cards right, you might even get a chance to hold a koala while at the zoo! There is no knowing what you will come across while traveling Down Under!
